Art Class by Jared Bridwell

This week in art class we are making cardboard boats.  The first day we planned out our design on a piece of paper.  Then, we made miniature models of our designs to see if they would float.  The second day we grabbed some cardboard and started on the design.  We were given only one roll of duct tape and a certain amount of cardboard.  During the third day we continued to construct our boats, and most people finished the third day. Today, Thursday, people painted and finished some last details of the design.  Tonight we are going to Haviland Lake to race the boats.  I am excited to see how our boat floats and how long it lasts.
